A new Wildlife Charity starts up in Guernsey

Having been a Supporter Group for the World Wide Fund for Nature for over twenty years, (and having raised a quarter of a million pounds for them over that period) the local Committee has now decided to form its own charity in Guernsey – Friends of Wildlife Foundation LBG - to raise funds to help wildlife charities in general.

Our mission is to financially support a variety of wildlife charities.

We are purely a fund raising charity; we are not experts on wildlife issues and we have no particular views or areas of interest.

This enables us to provide support to many struggling wildlife charities rather than focusing in any particular areas or setting up in competition with existing charities. We are currently supporting the Born Free Foundation.
