Visit by Virginia McKenna OBE and Alison Hood, Born Free Foundation
The very successful visit by Virginia McKenna and Alison Hood in 2010 raised over £8000 (thanks mainly to the sale of the silver/gold giraffes made for us on such generous terms by Bruce and Simon Russell).
They will both be coming to Guernsey again in 2012 to attend a fund-raising lunch at which they will speak on the developments in the Born Free Reserve at Ensessakotteh, Ethopia which was officially opened in March 2011.
The date is Sunday 26th February 2012 and the venue is the OGH.
